Common turf repair
When a section is melted, torn, or worn through, a clean insert into sound surrounding turf beats endless surface cosmetics.
Cigarette and grill melts, furniture drag tears, pet shred zones, dropped tools, and UV-brittle collapse all create areas where the existing yarn cannot be “fluffed” back to life. The durable answer is usually a cut-out and patch with the closest available turf.
Patch quality depends on three honest variables: how sound the surrounding turf is, how close a match exists in pile height and color, and whether the base under the damage is still competent. SynTurf Care+ explains those variables before you approve materials.
Large multi-panel failure, discontinued products with no near match, or base collapse under the damage may push the recommendation toward wider replacement rather than a quilt of patches.
